My New Favorite Snack

This is my new favorite snack. So now my daily food intake consists of 2 rice cakes with peanut butter, a yogurt and a bag of Yogo Bits. You would think with as little as I eat a day I would lose weight. But nope, still have that extra 30 pounds hanging aroung. Hopefully once I start with these iron injections I'll feel like eating again and still be able to lose this extra weight.
It's been so hot here the last couple of days and we still have one more day of this muggy weather. It is even too hot for Simba. Usually when I get home from work and get Gary off to work we go outside and work in the yard or he plays while I sit in the swing with a good book. But the last couple of days he hangs around inside the house with me until later in the evenings and then we go out and water all the plants and sit around in the swing together.
This is my favorite time of the year, the warm summer evenings, watching the lightening bugs dance around at night while my cats rough house in the yard.

My kids have been begging for those! I've been nervous to try them! Thanks for the review. Now I guess I'll have to breakdown and get them!

I haven't had any reactions to them, and I eat a box a week. I will definately be taking them on vacation with me this year.

Never seen these before. My only hesitation would be that I would have to share them with the girls!

Here's to warm nights and kitties playing!

Hi Lea, I found your blog when looking up GF blogs. I'm only about a week into eating GF so am out prowling around for some recipes. Now I'm off to explore your blog further. Drop by to see me sometimes. :)

Lea Ray thank you ever so much for stopping by my blog. Hmmm . . . I sure hope I don't gain weight, I'm way too heavy as it is. I've found in only a few days GF that my appetite has changed, and I'm not craving food. So perhaps this will be more satisfying for me and I won't need to eat as much. I'm not really a snacker, don't have the time. BTW, do you know of any GF forums? I would so love to network with, and ask questions of other GF folks. :)

Betty Jo- There are links on the side of my page also there is a nice online support group listed there. It is "Brain Talks". The people that belong to it were a lot of help when I first started my gluten free life. I don't think I would have gotten through the first year without them.

I hope that helps.
